Bio

Growing up in Sydney, I’ve always been drawn to the outdoors and staying active, whether it was spending time at the beach, hiking national parks with my family, or playing team sports with friends. Movement has been a core part of my life, thanks to the influence of those closest to me. Now, my goal is to inspire others to embrace an active lifestyle in the same way.

My personal journey with exercise began when I suffered a lower back injury and chronic pain in my teenage years. Despite seeing multiple health professionals with little progress, it wasn’t until I worked with an Exercise Physiologist that I experienced real relief. My EP helped me shift my beliefs about pain and movement and created a personalised exercise plan that quickly improved my pain and restored my function. That experience sparked my passion for exercise physiology, leading me to complete a Bachelor’s of Exercise Physiology at the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

Throughout university, I gained hands-on experience working in gyms, coaching a school mountain-bike team (yes, that exists!), and contributing to dementia research focused on older Australians as part of a prestigious team at UNSW. Alongside my studies and work, I explored various interests, from learning to surf and bouldering to photography, basketball, and traveling. I strongly believe in the importance of incorporating movement into everyday life in a way that aligns with the things you love.

Today, I’m excited to share my passion for movement with others, helping them discover forms of exercise they enjoy while improving their quality of life. My main areas of interest include chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and fostering long-term functional health.
