Exercise Physiology – a growing profession!

“If exercise could be packaged in a pill, it would be the single most widely prescribed and beneficial medicine in the nation”

Between 2020 and 2021 Exercise Physiology was the number one growing industry of health professionals and it continues to be the fastest growing allied health profession. To be a part of an industry that is so beneficial and growing at such a high rate is remarkable and honourable. The reality of being able to help individuals reach their goals through exercise and see results sometimes even after one session is so rewarding.

Only now are more people aware of what an Exercise Physiologist is and does and it is still a profession that needs a lot more education about what we do and how we can assist every individual to achieve their health goals. To know that it is the fastest growing allied health profession, we have an opportunity to have a large and positive impact on the health industry. With the rising ageing population in Australia, we want to be able to reduce this burden on Australia’s healthcare system and provide individuals with exercise is the first step in preventing chronic conditions from arising.

We want to shine light on the fact that every person, gender, age, ethnicity or race has a reason to be coming to see an Exercise Physiologist. As more and more people who previously had given up on exercise or thought they were too sick, injured or old to start again (which is a vast majority of the Australian population), we want to inspire these individuals that they have the capabilities to be completing safe exercise regimes throughout the week. At Longevity, we want to be able to give individuals a fresh start on exercise to those who have given up. The growth in this population commencing and seeing an Exercise Physiologist to improve their health has grown and will continue to rise exponentially.

“At Longevity, we want to be able to give individuals a fresh start on exercise to those who have given up.”

Longevity Exercise Physiology is always looking to expand our team for new Exercise Physiologists to join us at so we can help more and more individuals across Australia and Canada.
