Get to know Josh!

Today, Longevity Exercise Physiology DrummoyneEdgecliff, Marrickville, Bella Vista, Randwick, Pymble, Neutral Bay and Balmain get to know Josh!

Josh started working with Longevity Pymble in June, this year. Prior to that, Josh worked in a private health clinic in the Northern Beaches. He has also worked as a gymnastics coach, where he worked with people of all ages from unruly toddlers to golden oldies.

In terms of Exercise Physiology, Josh has extensive experience working in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and with people who are living with a disability. He loves to help people with a challenging condition, assisting them to regain their function in order to enjoy their hobbies and interests.

Josh has thorough knowledge of the NDIS, including reporting procedures and requirements. He has assisted people with disabilities to access and secure NDIS funding through comprehensive reports. He has particular experience and interest in working with people with ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder).

When he’s not making lame jokes at work, Josh enjoys playing board games with friends, attempting to play soccer with a group of school mates and getting his butt whooped in jiu jitsu (see picture below).

During lockdown, he could not partake in his favourite past times so he kept himself busy by picking up tennis again and reading books with his dog (pictured below). If you thought his soccer was poor, you should see his tennis serve.

Post-lockdown, Josh is ecstatic to be back at the gym and helping his clients to regain control of their conditions. The equipment in the gym at Pymble is exceptional and a large part of why he has trained there for almost a decade. Josh utilises his experience to tailor every exercise to each person and their individual goals.

Josh’s ambition is to facilitate life changing results to people’s lives through personalised exercise prescription. He believes in developing exercise routines that can be done regularly to achieve long term success. Josh believes that life is too short to let pain or disability limit you from doing the things you love.
