Nate Sutton

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

Growing up amongst the beaches and open spaces of the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Nate threw himself into a range of sports. He tried soccer, cricket, baseball and footy, before falling love with Basketball and physical activity on the whole due to the physical, mental, and social benefits it provided him.

Nate continued playing basketball at a high level, captaining representative teams on National and International stages, and in the some of the best leagues the country has to offer before deciding to focus on his study in Exercise Physiology at the University of New South Wales. /p>

Combining the principles he learnt as an athlete with his formal training at University, Nate is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who drives the idea that physical activity benefits everyone, regardless of ability. Nate was originally drawn to Exercise Physiology through his experience in elite sport, but after seeing the practice at work, has developed a passion for treating all chronic health conditions with exercise.

ADue to his personal, and family history with mental health disorders such as, anxiety, depression and OCD, Nate has a particular interest in working with people who live with these conditions. Nate knows from experience, the profoundly positive effect exercise has had on his psychological wellbeing, and he wants to share that knowledge with everyone.
Nate’s goal with his clients is to strive for independence through strong exercise education, and the development of positive attitudes towards exercise from a fun, creative program.
