Bio
From a young age I have always been active and highly passionate about sport, exercise, health and overall wellbeing. I have grown up in Cronulla where outside of work I love to spend time on the water, boating, paddleboarding and going to the beach. In winter I love to try and get down to the snow to ski as much as possible and have always loved travelling, especially to different ski resorts. I attended SCEGGS Darlinghurst, where I was competitively Involved in netball, tennis and the snowsports team and later went on to coach primary school students. It was then a natural progression to pursue a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science at UTS.
To complement my studies, I began working in the health and fitness industry as a personal and group fitness trainer. During this time I developed a strong passion for helping people and quickly recognised a gap in the fitness industry. Many gyms were not providing personalised, tailored care. This became even more apparent through my mum’s experience; she was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis at age 15, and I saw firsthand how challenging it was for her to access exercise support that truly understood her condition. This sparked a deeper interest in using exercise as a form of medicine and ultimately led me to study my Masters in Clinical Exercise Physiology at UTS. I gained valuable experience working in both private practice and hospital settings working with clients of all ages under private, DVA, Work Cover, NDIS and Medicare schemes.
I have clinical experience across a range of areas including oncology, mental health, musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, and aged care. I also have a strong interest in preventive healthcare and the role exercise has in promoting long-term wellbeing and quality of life. I believe that providing all my clients with evidence-based, individualised exercise programs tailored to their specific needs and goals is key to their quality of life and wellbeing as well as offering education to empower them to better understand and manage their health.
