Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

Originally from Adelaide, I’ve spent the last 8 years living across the Gold Coast, and Tweed Heads in Northern NSW, and have recently moved to Sydney in January 2025.

I have been a member of Surf Life Saving since a little nipper and still compete in Surf Sports competitions (now as a master!), and still volunteer my time for Surf Rescue Patrols. Participating in Surf Life Saving has taught me the value of staying fit and active, as well as the importance of giving back to the community through patrolling between the red and yellow flags and teaching the next generation of lifesavers important rescue skills.

After spending a few years working as a lifeguard on the Gold Coast, I decided to pursue a career in Exercise Physiology to further my passion for staying fit and active and teaching people new skills. I completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Southern Cross University. After graduating in 2022, I spent just shy of two years working for NSW Health at Lismore Base and Tweed Valley Hospitals in the Acute Psychiatric Inpatient Units. This was an extremely valuable and rewarding experience; helping people on their recovery journey and being able to see firsthand the effectiveness of exercise on not only the body, but also the positive effects on your mind and mood.
