Bio

Ashleigh is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist based at our Edgecliff location. She is available for gym-based and home-based exercise physiology and can treat patients through Medicare, NDIS, DVA, Private Health Insurance, and Workcover schemes. Ashleigh completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) at the University of Sydney where she gained a variety of insightful experiences in Public Hospitals, Community Mental Health, and Private Practice.

After spending considerable time studying and working in private practice in the Western Suburbs of Sydney, Ashleigh is excited to be back in the Eastern Suburbs – working at Longevity, Edgecliff, and treating her clients within a gym in her local area.

Ashleigh has worked with clients of all ages and with varying health conditions. She strongly believes that it is never too early or too late to start moving and that there is always an exercise for everyone, no matter their experience or ability.

Her skills are particularly well developed in the areas of falls prevention training and metabolic management. She also has a special interest in treating Osteoarthritis, Women’s health, Mental Health and Exercising with Cancer. Ashleigh has a unique approach to her clients. She is positive, encouraging and engaging meaning that her sessions have an equal balance of education, challenge, support, and fun!

Ashleigh loves sport, especially Rugby League! She also enjoys traveling around coastal and country Australia and spending time at her family’s farm. She loves playing Touch Rugby League with her friends during the week and plays competitive netball for Marrickville All-Stars on Saturdays. Ashleigh is very friendly, approachable and relatable. She is always willing to answer any questions, have a chat and share pictures of her pets!
