Bio

Growing up in Canberra I was always in and around sports. Starting off in my youth playing Rugby League before making the switch to Basketball. My interest in coaching and training began towards the end of my junior basketball career, where an unexpected injury kept me off the court for the final weeks of the season. It was at this time that I was deciding where to take my studies after high school and through my experience with return to sport training, I knew that I wanted to work within health and rehabilitation.

Upon beginning my studies in Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation at the University of Canberra (UC), I was looking for any opportunities to advance my learning as fast as possible. I started to pursue different qualifications and career opportunities that would complement my studies. I achieved my Strength and Conditioning Level 1 with the Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA) and began training clients within my local gym space as a Personal Trainer. My experiences as a coach shifted me from training premier league Rugby Union players in the John I Dent cup, assisting top coaches with performance testing for junior international basketball players at the Australian Institute of Sport, to training a large variety of clients within the local gym space as a personal trainer. I would regularly see clients for weight loss, strength, health and performance. I have previously coached clients with heart, lung, or genetic conditions as well as various work or sporting related injuries.

During my time away from work I am a huge fan of basketball following NBA and NBL, I am easily entertained by F1 cars driving in circles for hours straight and of course as a born and raised Canberran, I have to follow the Raiders and the Brumbies. I love a good snow season, a beach swim, or a decent walk.
