Bio
I grew up in Singapore, where I fell in love with sport and movement – playing netball, badminton, swimming and cross country running. That love of physical activity followed me to Sydney, where Netball and CrossFit became my new passions.
Graduating high school in the middle of COVID was a challenging period of my life. Leaving school, combined with lockdowns and isolation, made it harder than ever to stay active. I felt firsthand how much exercise contributes to wellbeing, both physical and mental, simply by watching what happened when it was taken away. I had gone from someone who exercised frequently to struggling to get out of the house for more than one quick walk a week. On top of this, I developed chronic hip pain that prevented me from walking more than a kilometer without pain. I realised the impact that not moving was having on my body, and had to find a way to re-incorporate it into my life.
That realization is what drew me into a career in Exercise Physiology. I completed my Exercise Physiology (Honours) degree at the University of Sydney, where my honours research explored cardiovascular health outcomes in individuals with knee osteoarthritis. Through my time at University, I managed to develop from a once a week, occasional exerciser to someone who couldn’t see my life without daily movement. It’s my aim in my professional practice to show people that nothing happens overnight, but that steady, consistent effort will bring you to places you never thought possible. From not being able to walk a kilometre without hip pain, I’ve now run more than 10 half marathons, and completed my first marathon in 2026.
These days, my own movement practice has grown into a love of hiking, resistance training, swimming, bouldering and running. I’m also an avid reader and foodie. But more than anything, I’m passionate about making exercise accessible to everyone. In my time at Longevity, I have worked with clients from ages 10 to 92, and no two people are ever the same. I love getting to know what makes each client unique, and making our sessions the perfect balance of having fun and working hard.
