NDIS Treatment at Centennial park!

Longevity Exercise Physiology has been providing Exercise Physiology services to the NDIS community for years. We have continued to provide these services over the last 6-8 weeks to many NDIS patients who still need our help even during the Covid-19 pandemic.

During this time Longevity has been maintaining necessary face to face sessions, online telehealth as stated in our recent blog and easily accessible park sessions.

One of our 5 Longevity locations is Randwick.

We have been treating and training many clients in and around Randwick for nearly 12 months. In the last 2 months we and many of our clients have been able to experience the gorgeous Centennial Park. Whether it is an early morning sunrise treatment session or calm afternoon longevity and our clients have greatly enjoyed experiencing this park.

In today’s blog we want to show why Centennial park is great place for NDIS patients in the area to receive the treatment they need, whilst enjoying an amazing experience along side their Family and Support Workers.

Space and Facility

Centennial boasts an incredibly large space, meaning whether you are exercising by the water, under a tree or out in the open, there is plenty of space to maintain safe social distancing and ensure you meet your goals.

Easy Access

There are many entrances for the park including car and walkways. Whether you need transport right up to the park or need a ramp to get in, Centennial has many concrete paved walkways to ensure even those using walkers, scooters or crutches can utilise the parks facility.

Family Affair

Whether you require the support of a carer or family member this is the perfect place to involve them in your rehabilitation/treatment or they can even participate in their own exercise goals.

Participant Story:

Recently we have had a participant transition from the gym to the park environment who has been dealing with pain in their Knee and Achilles due to running. Despite the change of environment their knee, foot and ankle have greatly improved through strength training and specific running drills around the park.

Longevity has really enjoyed working out of Centennial Park these last couple months and believe it is a fantastic option to meet your treatment and exercise goals during the Covid-19 pandemic.
