Teamwork amongst Health Professionals
One of our biggest values here at Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Bella Vista, Randwick, Pymble, Neutral Bay and Balmain is teamwork. We realise that a sole practitioner, no matter how great, we can only offer a client a finite amount of expertise. It is essential to work together not only within our own profession of Exercise Physiologists (EP), but also with other practitioners such as Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Doctors, Personal Trainers and more to create a multi-faceted approach for our clients.
By branching out and getting additional input, we have great relationships with fellow practitioners, we can deliver the best health outcomes for our clients together.
Here, at Longevity Exercise Physiology Bella Vista, we are lucky enough to work closely alongside the Personal Trainers from New Image Personal Conditioning in the same studio. Although we are two separate entities, we have a close relationship sharing the gym floor together and have great interactions between all clients, as well as trainers. There’s a great community feel here!
As some clients have been seeing practitioners from both sides, clients have the privilege of getting various health perspectives, as well as different session experiences from the practitioners themselves. For example, one of the female clients Cheryl* enjoys the varied training styles given by her Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer as this gives her a variation in her routines and comprehensive coverage of her balance, aerobic fitness, and functional strength. Other clients who have suffered an injury also have had the option of consulting us EP’s for some acute rehabilitation work.
Now you might be wondering, will there ever be too many chefs in the kitchen? The answer is…not if there’s good communication!
Delivering great results with a client would not be possible if their practitioners didn’t have a great relationship and understand each other’s role with a client’s health. At Bella Vista, the Trainers and us always stay connected and coordinate plans around shared clients. This way, there is always a great environment and culture for all clients to thrive in.
