Nick Giovannone

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Nick has an extensive understanding of exercise principles though his own participation in sports over the years including Rugby League with St George, swimming and Oztag. Nick is currently a competitive Bodybuilder in the Classic Physique Division with the International Federation of Bodybuilding and Fitness. Nick most recently competed in the 2021 Australasian Championships placing 1st in the novice division and 2nd in the overall. Nick’s goal is to win his Pro card and represent Australia in the International Competition.

Born and raised in Sydney, Nick completed his Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science and Master of Clinical Exercise Physiology at Australian Catholic University.  As an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Nick wants to translate his 12-year exercise experience and knowledge gained from his studies to help individuals to maximise their health and well-being. Nick is very passionate about helping his clients achieve their exercise goals, helping a wide range of individuals with varying capacities. Nick specialises in individualised exercise programming, prescription, and delivery for a diverse range of musculoskeletal, cardiometabolic, neurological and mental health conditions.

In Nick’s role as an Exercise Physiologist, he especially enjoys empowering individuals to take control of their health status and be more confident with their exercise. Nick particularly enjoys working with the elderly and is passionate about promoting the message that it is never too late to start moving! He thoroughly enjoys applying his skills to help his own family, prescribing his grandmother with regular physical activity to improve her health condition and quality of life overall.
