Client Success Story: Managing Parkinson’s Disease and Living Well
Off the back of celebrating International Women’s Day, Longevity looks at how we can help the women in our life take control of their health.
Here at Longevity, we are committed to improving both lifespan and health-span, aiming for our clients to enjoy longer, healthier, and more fulfilling lives. To do this, we work towards our client’s specific goals as well as aiming to prevent chronic diseases that may impact their lives.
The biggest killer of women that we are working to prevent in Australia is Dementia. At Longevity, we understand how important it is for our clients to be actively managing the risk of such conditions and maintain physical function. A number of our clients come in to take control of their future health and prevent neurological diseases such as Dementia and Parkinson’s Disease. Parkinsons Disease is another neurological condition that often progresses into Dementia as well as a decline in physical function and independence. Exercise plays an important role in the management and delaying the progression of both Parkinson’s Disease and Dementia.
