Matthew Wotton

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

Growing up in the Sutherland Shire, I developed my initial passion for sport, physical activity and exercise from a young age. Throughout my life, I have played a competitive level soccer and cricket, which sparked my interest in physical activity and allowed myself to understand the importance of exercise in everyday life. Outside of sport, I enjoy going to beaches around Sydney, improving my own physical fitness in the gym and have the goal to travel to more countries after recently coming back from overseas.

My interest in sport and physical activity coupled with my strong passion of wanting to help people through exercise they enjoy, placed myself on a path to studying a Bachelor’s of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation at the University of Wollongong. After building my experience of using exercise as medicine, I have a strong passion and dedication to helping people improve their physical performance, manage chronic conditions, and build sustainable, healthy lifestyles to improve activities of daily living and functional capabilities.
