Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

I grew up in Singapore, where I developed a love for sport and physical activity, playing a variety of sports such as netball, badminton, swimming and cross country running. After moving to Sydney, Netball and Crossfit became my primary sports – in fact Crossfit is what prompted me to choose a degree in Exercise physiology. I currently have a love for hiking, resistance training, swimming, bouldering and running – I’ve run 5 half marathons so far and have my sights set on a full marathon.

The impact of exercise on my life, wellbeing, physical and mental health has been unimaginable, and being able to provide that to others is what drew me to a career in Exercise Physiology. I completed my Exercise Physiology (Honours) degree at the University of Sydney, with my honours project exploring cardiovascular health outcomes in individuals with Knee Osteoarthritis. My research uncovered my interest in chronic pain management. I am passionate about making exercise accessible and truly believe that exercise can be a part of every single person’s life. My job is to simply help people find what that looks like
