2020 has been a big year for Longevity! We have grown dramatically and opened several new locations. Due to this continued growth, we now have our Exercise Physiologist Georgia Wassall available full time at our Drummoyne location which is located at Plus Fitness Drummoyne. Georgia was previously working between our Drummoyne and Lindfield location but is now purely committed to one location, so she can cater more to our client’s needs.

Over 15 years, Georgia has gained extensive knowledge in fundamental principles of exercise science whilst competing as an elite 800m runner. Georgia’s experience as an elite athlete combined with the knowledge she gained from obtaining her Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at the University of Sydney has given Georgia a strong foundation to effectively treat clients of varying ages and abilities with great success.

Georgia is very passionate about advocating that “movement is the new medicine” and changing Australians approach to health. Georgia’s aim to is to inspire and guide her clients to a happier and healthier life.

At Longevity Exercise Physiology, we offer services through DVA, work cover, NDIS, Medicare and private sessions. Georgia has worked with a large variety of clients using exercise physiology principles to manage metabolic disease, osteoporosis, chronic pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and mental health conditions.

The Australian Physical Activity Guidelines are 150-300 minutes of moderate intensity exercise or 75-100minutes of vigorous intensity exercise and at least 2 days per week of strength training. If you are not currently meeting this, enquire into starting Exercise Physiology Services with Georgia to help you get started. Georgia currently has availability for a session most days of the week, but we expect this to fill up quickly. Don’t wait until the new year to start your fitness journey!
