Introducing Naomi! Our Newest Exercise Physiologist!
Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Bella Vista, Randwick, Pymble, Balmain and Neutral Bay are very excited to welcome our new Exercise Physiologist to the Pymble team, Naomi.
Naomi has always loved being active. From the age of 4 she entered the world of Physical Culture, competing for almost a decade before switching to team sports. During school and university Naomi would get involved in any sport she could, but it was the netball court where she felt most at home. It was this love of fitness, and her desire to help people that led Naomi into a career of Exercise Physiology.
Naomi has been working as an Exercise Physiologist for almost 6 years. In this time she has worked across the rehabilitation spectrum, with experience in acute and subacute hospitals as well as private practice. Naomi has worked with clients of all ages, with differing orthopaedic, cardiovascular and neurological conditions and from varying schemes such as DVA, CTP, NDIS and Workcover.
For the last 12 months Naomi has been part of the multidisciplinary team for chronic pain management at Mt Wilga Private Hospital. This program uses the research of David Butler and Lorimer Moseley to discuss the complex system of pain and subsequent adaptions that occur.
She is a strong believer of movement at all stages, improving longevity, independence and ultimately, quality of life.
While she enjoys seeing clients from all walks of life, Naomi has a particular interest in older population health. She is a strong believer of movement at all stages, improving longevity, independence and ultimately, quality of life.
In her downtime Naomi’s passions are both travelling and screen acting, which she has been actively involved in for over a decade.
