Vaccination

Today Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, EdgecliffMarrickvilleBella VistaRandwickPymbleBalmain and Neutral Bay discuss the current vaccination numbers in NSW and how long until NSW is 80% vaccinated.

Current vaccination numbers in NSW are 5.6 million doses administered. That number is only the number of doses administered and not the number of people fully vaccinated. Around 12.8 million doses need to be administered for 80% of NSW to be fully vaccinated. If we continue at our current daily rate of vaccinations, by mid-September 80% of NSW will be vaccinated (first dose only) and 80% of adults in NSW will be fully vaccinated by mid-November.

At times like this, exercise for mental health has never been so important. Exercise for stress management has never been so important. With gyms being closed for the foreseeable future, exercise for physical health can’t take a back seat any longer

We understand the frustration with the slow rollout of the vaccine. We support the need for lockdown as we understand that public health is the top priority. However, we really feel for how the people in NSW are being impacted by this lockdown. This month there was a record number of calls to Lifeline. At times like this, exercise for mental health has never been so important. Exercise for stress management has never been so important. With gyms being closed for the foreseeable future, exercise for physical health can’t take a back seat any longer. We specialise in lockdown exercise, whether it be exercises at home, exercise at the park or Telehealth.

At Longevity, the health of our clients is the top priority. This is why we are supporting the vaccination process and promoting it in our community. If you know that your physical and mental health can’t wait until November, contact Longevity Personal Training and Exercise Physiology Edgecliff, Pymble, Marrickville, Randwick, Drummoyne, Balmain, Bella Vista and Neutral Bay on 1300 964 002 to enquire today.
