Welcome Eleni, Longevity’s new Exercise Physiologist!
Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Bella Vista, Randwick, Pymble, Balmain and Neutral Bay are very excited to welcome Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Eleni Bradley. Eleni completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) at the University of Sydney. She has valuable experience in both private practice and hospital settings working with clients of all ages under private, DVA, Work Cover, NDIS and Medicare schemes. Eleni has a strong knowledge of exercise physiology principles and their application for the prevention and management of musculoskeletal injuries, arthritis, osteoporosis, chronic pain and metabolic, neurological, and mental health conditions. She has a special interest in knee and back pain and mental health.
Since 2018, Eleni has also worked as a school sports coach and personal trainer in the Eastern Suburbs for women, helping her clients become fitter, stronger and feel confident in their bodies. Her passion for health and exercise started from a young age, being involved in all kinds of sports from surfing and hockey to tennis, golf, and touch football. She spent her childhood years in California and has lived in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs since moving back to Australia. Whilst attending high school at Kambala, Eleni followed her passion for soccer and in 2015 and 2016 represented NSW at the National Championships in both football and futsal. However, her involvement in sport was soon put on pause after a serious knee injury. After 12 months of rehabilitation, she returned to play for North Shore Mariners FC in NSW’s premier league competition.
Experiencing first-hand the role exercise played in helping her return to what she loves, sparked her interest in exercise physiology. Whilst completing her studies, she learnt and witnessed the powerful role exercise plays in the prevention and management of chronic diseases and injuries and is passionate about sharing this to help people live healthier, happier lives. Eleni does regular gym sessions herself at our location in Anytime Fitness Randwick and has recently started Pilates. She loves spending time at the beach, travelling, coastal walks with her dogs and trying out new cafes and restaurants.
Eleni loves being part of communities like Longevity, which make people feel supported and hopes that her friendly, encouraging, and thorough approach will make exercise a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
Since successfully rehabilitating a second ACL reconstruction in 2021, Eleni is excited to focus on helping her clients navigate their health conditions using exercise. Her aim is to help empower clients to take control of their health and feel confident and capable. Helping people experience for themselves the positive effect exercise has on physical and mental health is what Eleni loves about being an Exercise Physiologist. She enjoys taking the time to get to know everyone she works with and building individualised programs to suit each person’s goals, condition, and lifestyle.
Eleni is available for sessions at our Randwick location inside Anytime Fitness Randwick as well as home or outdoor sessions. Spots are limited! To book your appointment or for a free 15-minute consult now, call 1300964002.
