  • First aid/CPR accreditation
  • Vast experience in elite athlete monitoring
  • Expert knowledge in sports science research
  • Level 1 Strength and Conditioning Qualification

Naomi has always had a passion for health and fitness! Being involved in netball, athletics, softball and swimming growing up, it was only natural that she progressed into a Bachelor of Human Movement at the University of Technology, Sydney. Her studies included research in areas such as exercise rehabilitation, exercise physiology, exercise for special populations and strength and conditioning.  This provided her with an insight into what the human body goes through during exercise.

These studies saw her move onto internships in the sports science departments of several NRL clubs including the Parramatta Eels, Penrith Panthers and the Wests Tigers. Most recently she was the Head Sports Scientist at the Wests Tigers Rugby league Club. Her roles have focused on elite athlete monitoring using GPS (Global Positioning System) technology, to ensure athletes maintained peak physical fitness throughout the season. Through her experience she knows how to bring individuals through rehabilitation and manage difficulties that arise in generalised elite training programs. Her work has made her passionate about researching new techniques in supporting those coming through rehabilitation. She has worked with some of Australia’s best athletes through the highs and the lows of professional sport, assisting them in becoming the best they can be all year round. This included a broad spectrum of player monitoring from injury management to performance optimisation.

She has always been interested in the health and fitness side of her degree, as she has invested in her own fitness journey over the last 7 years. She has participated in boxing, strength and cardio circuits, strength training, high intensity interval training and functional movement training. It is this knowledge and level of intensity that she brings with her. Leading by example and taking her own health and fitness journey seriously, she understands the importance of it in everyday life. She is not interested in what the newest fitness craze is, she knows that research and science never fail when working towards fitness goals.

Her passion for exercise is infectious! She will make you love it! She believes exercise should not be a chore but something you wake up every day wanting to do. Naomi will take an in depth look at all aspects of your life to aim to assist you physiologically, physically and mentally.

Welcome to the team, Naomi Wallis!
