Now, reading that first line might sound like we don’t want you to achieve it – we want nothing more than for you to be the healthiest version of yourself as you can. Unfortunately we know from personal experience and from research, that many of these goals and resolutions don’t get achieved or aren’t sustained long-term.

Sharing a goal with someone has been shown to increase the likelihood of you achieving your resolution/goal to about 65%. Okay, 2/3 likelihood isn’t too bad. BUT if you commit to someone who keeps you accountable by an appointment the percentage rockets to 95%! (Jackson et. Al, 2015)

Booking in an appointment with one of our team members will keep you accountable. It will have a minimum of 1 hour set aside per week for you to exercise. We will keep in constant contact with you between your sessions to see how your exercise is going, to find out what is and isn’t working.

Our Exercise Physiologists will work with you to develop a strategy that best suits you, to make sure the plan to achieve your goals is sustainable. Common problems that occur with people attending gyms and exercising on their own are:

  • Lack of knowledge on the right exercise to do
  • Injuries occurring due to improper load management and improper technique
