Welcome, Guy, Our New Exercise Physiologist!
Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne,Edgecliff, Marrickville,Bella Vista, Randwick, Lindfield and Balmain are very excited to welcome Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Guy.
Growing up in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney, Guy has always been immersed within an active lifestyle filled with sports and physical activity. He has always participated in a myriad of competitive sports such as swimming, surf life saving, surfing, rugby union and powerlifting. However, this active lifestyle didn’t come originally by choice of passion, rather a drive to improve his long-term health.
At a very young age, Guy had severe asthma which he inherited from his mother and was recommended by a respiratory specialist to partake in swimming to build up his respiratory capacity. From the age of 18 months, he began swimming consistently all the way until his late adolescence, which involved swimming competitively for swim clubs and representing his school. This in turn resulted in him having no respiratory issues.
This appreciation manifested itself further at University where he completed a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at the University of New South Wales. Here he learnt the vital role exercise plays in the prevention and management of chronic disease and injury, and how he can make a positive impact on lives of Australians living with a chronic health condition.
Guy has gained experience working with a range of clientele with varying health conditions and age, and has the passion to help everyone improve their health to live a longer, healthier and happier life.
