Behind the Scenes: How our Team Enjoyed the Holidays
As the holiday season drew near, some of our team enjoyed a well earned break over the Christmas and New Year period. Our team embarked on a variety of adventures, creating memories that ranged from overseas escapades to cozy moments at home. While some ventured overseas, others found joy in the simple pleasures of family, food, and relaxation. Here’s a glimpse into the diverse experiences of our team over the holiday break.
Team Adventures:
Shannon kicked off the break with a vibrant escape to the Gold Coast and Byron Bay, where she spent quality time with family friends. Her holiday was filled with indulgent moments of eating and drinking against the backdrop of beautiful beaches and scenic landscapes.
Liam marked a significant milestone by moving into his first rental property with his partner just before Christmas. Celebrating the holidays in their new home brought a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the year ahead.
Nikki opted for a serene holiday in Adelaide, relishing in a well-deserved break. She explored various activities, from pool and beach days to introducing her kids to the joy of horseback riding – a first-time experience that added a special touch to the family holiday.
Courtney embraced the coastal charm of Blueys Beach, enjoying an array of activities such as walks, swims, yoga, tennis, reading, and rejuvenating naps. Her holiday was a perfect blend of relaxation and outdoor adventures.
Angela embarked on a dual adventure, first spending quality time with her family in Griffith and later jetting off to the tropical paradise of Bali for a unique holiday experience.
Georgia ventured on a grand family holiday to Europe, where she enjoyed the thrill of skiing in Val D’Isere and relished the expansive beauty of the snowy landscapes. She perhaps enjoyed the apres ski scene and French cuisine a little too much!
A Note of Gratitude:
As the curtain falls on our holiday break, it’s essential to shine a spotlight on the unsung heroes of our team – those who chose to work over the festive period. Their dedication was the linchpin that allowed others to indulge in well-deserved break. It’s crucial to recognise that without their commitment, our team’s collective ability to provide exercise physiology services seamlessly throughout the year would be compromised.
Ellen relished the opportunity to improve her relationships with other clients at Edgecliff as she covered for team members on leave. A testament to our commitment to creating a community at Longevity.
Even our team members who worked through the holidays were able to still enjoy time their families and friends. Nat, Annabel and Ketki were all able to juggle work and family commitments over the holidays, all while still having some quiet time to rejuvenate and relax. Nat enjoyed post- work newborn cuddles, Annabel made sure each day began with a sunrise swim, and Ketki enjoyed tending to her vegetable garden in her free time.
Our ability to offer exercise physiology services year-round is not just a testament to our team’s dedication but also a cornerstone of our commitment to promoting health and well-being. The holiday period does not exempt the need for such vital services, and the tireless efforts of our team ensure that individuals can access support and care consistently.
As our team reconvenes after the holiday break, Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Castle Hill, Randwick, Pymble, Kingsgrove, Neutral Bay, Rhodes, Five Dock, Casey, Gungahlin and Coburg look forward to a big year ahead, starting with our annual retreat next week! Here’s to a year filled with shared successes, personal growth, and continued support for one another.
