Angela Vitucci
Operations Manager and Accredited Exercise Physiologist
Bio
Angela’s passion for health and exercise began through sport. Her childhood and teenage years were filled with football (soccer), tennis, representative tournaments, touch football, netball and swimming.
Her love of sport and exercise naturally led her towards a career in the health and fitness industry. Angela moved to Sydney from Griffith NSW to begin her tertiary studies. It was during this time, studying a Bachelor of Human Movement, playing in the NSW National Premier League and working as a Personal Trainer, that she underwent extensive investigations to determine the cause of irregular heart rhythms.
In December 2013, just two weeks before her 21st birthday, Angela was diagnosed with arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), a heart condition for which she had no known family history. She now lives with an implantable defibrillator.
Being diagnosed with a heart condition at such a young age was life-changing. Having to give up competitive sport was particularly difficult and brought with it significant emotional and mental challenges. However, Angela’s determination and never-give-up attitude helped her move forward. While undergoing cardiac rehabilitation, she continued her studies and pursued her Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology.
Angela began to learn that exercise is about much more than fitness. It is about helping people maintain their independence, build confidence, participate in the things they enjoy and live the best quality of life possible—regardless of the challenges they may face.
Today, Angela continues to lead an active lifestyle through regular gym sessions, coastal walks and trying new activities such as yoga and kayaking. While staying active remains an important part of her life, she has learned the importance of listening to her body, respecting her limitations and finding the right balance between challenging herself and exercising safely.
Angela brings this understanding, along with her clinical experience and genuine passion for helping others, to every client she works with. Angela is committed to empowering her clients to feel confident in their bodies, stay active within their individual abilities and achieve meaningful improvements in their health and quality of life.
