Recently we published a post asking you a very important question: “What do you want?”. You can read the full article here. Before you read on, I want to make sure that you choose something. You can choose ANYTHING related to your health: reduce pain, lose weight, increase energy levels, live until I’m 100! You can choose anything you like. Choose it now.
The most important part of choosing what you want is making sure it is connected to what is most important to you. If family is important to you, make sure you connect it back to your family. If having a successful career is important to you, then connect it back to that. If your relationship with your partner is important, then connect it back to that. Check that what you want is connected to what you value the most and then read on.
If there is one thing for sure that I have learnt after working with hundreds of clients regarding behaviour change, it is that if what you want is not connected to what you see as the most important things in your life and what you value the most, then you will not take the necessary steps to turn what you want into a reality.
