Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

Growing up in South-West Sydney, I developed an early interest in movement, fitness, and sport after being introduced to weight training in high school. What started as a way to get stronger and socialise with mates after school, quickly grew into a genuine curiosity about how the body works and how exercise can be used to improve health and performance. This led me to study a Bachelor of Applied Science (Exercise Physiology) (Honours) at the University of Sydney, where I further explored human anatomy, physiology, and how the body responds to training, injury, and chronic disease. My Honours research focused on cardiorespiratory fitness responses in people undergoing cardiac rehabilitation, including patients with and without Type 2 Diabetes.

My passion for exercise is strongly shaped by my own experiences with training, injuries, and returning to sport. Throughout university, I competed and trained in both combat and contact sports, learning first hand what it feels like to manage niggles, setbacks, and the frustration of being side-lined. These experiences allow me to genuinely relate to clients who are dealing with pain, injury, or loss of confidence in their body. Outside the clinic, you will often find me running around Sydney with my brother (from the BayRun to Bondi-to-Coogee), lining up at a local Oakberry, Yo-Chi ,or unwinding with an action movie.
