Introducing Kyle! Our Newest Longevity Team Member!
Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Bella Vista, Randwick, Pymble, Balmain and Neutral Bay are excited to announce one of our newest team members, Kyle!
Born and bred in Goulburn and have an extensive history in sport including rugby, basketball, golf and specifically athletics (Decathlon) where I represented Australia on three occasions with some notable results: 1st 2017 World University Games (Taipei), 2019 National Decathlon Champion, and 5th at the 2018 Commonwealth Games (Gold Coast).
My goal is to use my experience as an athlete and knowledge of Exercise Physiology to help all individuals achieve their exercise and lifestyle goals/aspirations. I enjoy being involved in people’s journey whether it be back from injury, beginning exercise, improving performance, or maintaining their health. As much as my history involves sport, I aim on helping individuals feel confident and healthy in their body mentally and physically.

Working with clients at Balmain Sports Medicine and surrounds, I will focus on high quality of care specific to your individual needs. It is my passion to support clients on their endeavour to improve their health and physical abilities. When applying Exercise Physiology principles to support clients in their efforts to become happier and healthier. I collaborate with General Practitioners in the surrounding areas and consulting Sports Physicians, Psychologists, Dietitians, Podiatrists and Physiotherapists within Balmain Sports Medicine. These professional connections allow seamless communication and collaboration to provide a high quality service to the client who may have multiple health professionals supporting them.

Throughout my studies I have had experience working with GWS Giants, NSW Institute of Sport, Aged care, Cardiac Rehabilitation and Mental Health. During these experiences I was able to practice my clinical knowledge and skills along with my passion to help others to improve the performance and wellbeing for a wide range of clients with musculoskeletal injuries, mental health conditions, cardiovascular, metabolic conditions, high-performance, team sports with exercise and behaviour change strategies.
The last few years of my sporting career, I decided to take on the challenge of coaching myself which involved coordinating strength programs, speed and aerobic conditioning, scheduling, nutrition/hydration, assessment/videoing/analysis. This required me to be impartial to decisions vital to my performance and health to compete to the best of my abilities.
During my career I encountered numerous injuries which comes with training and competing in high performance sport. I was successful in rehabilitating Musculoskeletal injuries; Grade 2 Calf strain, High Hamstring tendinopathy, Patella tendinopathy ‘Jumper’s Knee’, Grade 2 Hamstring strain, High ankle sprain, plantar fasciitis.
