Starting an exercise program can be daunting, especially when living with a disability. However, through the guidance and assistance of an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, we can work together to make positive lifestyle changes, and improve quality of life.

Why see an Exercise Physiologist?

For those with a disability, exercise is much more than becoming a little fitter. An exercise physiologist will help you improve your quality of life by:

  1. Building strength, function, and fitness
  2. Improving your physical and mental health
  3. Preventing further health conditions
  4. Becoming more independent and make activities of daily living easier
  5. Increasing community engagement and social skills e.g. participation in sports

Longevity’s AEPs are professionals at evaluating, designing, and delivering safe and effective exercise programs tailored to your specific needs, preferences, and goals.

Types of training we use include:

  • Cardio Training
  • Resistance (Strength) Training
  • Functional exercises
  • Flexibility and Mobility
  • Balance
