Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

When I was younger, I was a competitive gymnast for 10 years which sparked the start of my love for training, exercise, and sharing it with others. I experienced quite a few injuries which led me to quit and begin my coaching career which I continued for the next 9 years. There, I found my passion for educating and coaching others within sport, leading me to pursuing Exercise Physiology. This passion was furthered as I discovered pole dancing in 2019, also teaching and competing since 2022. Living the double life of being an injury-prone person whilst having majority of my fulfilment in life dependent on some sort of movement/exercise, I’ve experienced first-hand how vital a regular individualised exercise prescription is to enable me to live my life to the fullest both physically and mentally. This was especially prominent to me end of 2022 when I suddenly started experiencing severe lower back pain and had to alter both my training and coping strategies to address the issue. Within my family, I’ve also witnessed the overwhelming impact chronic conditions, mainly type 2 diabetes, has on our health and daily living, and consequently how crucial exercise has been for treatment and further prevention.

I am passionate in empowering my clients to take control of their health and guide them towards better living. I love to build long-lasting genuine relationships with my clients to help them reach their goals and assist them in building their own long-lasting relationship to exercise. I look forward to welcoming people of all backgrounds, injuries, and conditions into the gym space, and show them the amazing things that they can achieve.
