Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

I grew up in country NSW and always had a strong passion for sports, athletics and cross country running. As I got older I became more interested in playing league tag and oz tag and was honoured to play representative in both sports. I experienced many injuries playing both contact and non-contact sports which then led me to discover my passion for strength training and more gym based workouts.

During high school I always knew I wanted to pursue a future degree and career around exercise, PE was my favourite class by far. I started my studies completing a Bachelor of Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Canberra in 2018, during this time I discovered Exercise Physiology. I thought this would be a great fit for me so I changed degrees and completed the next three years to finish with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation.
During my career I have had experience working in disability for NDIS funded clients, worked with many DVA clients, worked in a gym setting for general health and fitness and worked in a clinic which saw many doctors referrals for conditions such as Diabetes, Osteoporosis, different types of arthritis, acute injuries and chronic pain.

In my spare time I like to follow the AFL (baggers all the way), follow the NRL Canberra Raiders team, spending time in nature, enjoying the ocean, socialising with friends, getting crafty and traveling when I can.
