Longevity year in review!
Longevity year in review!
As 2019 ends, Longevity Personal Training and Exercise Physiology Edgecliff, Lindfield, Marrickville and Randwick have taken some time to look back at 2019 and acknowledge all of our business and personal achievements.
May this year was incredibly exciting for Longevity and all our clients as Longevity opened two new locations; Marrickville operating out of at Ruben’s gym and Randwick operating out of Gym 115.
We brought on AEP Dylan Furey to run our new locations and haven’t looked back since. We also added Ashleigh Mead to help out with our ever-growing demand in Edgecliff. With the reinforcements in Edgecliff, Daniel was able to move full time to our Lindfield location to meet the growing clientele on the other side of the bridge, as well as Courtney Maher servicing both Edgecliff and Lindfield.
As a profession, Exercise Physiology continued to take steps forward to be front line allied health professionals. NDIS funded clients can now claim Exercise Physiology services under the health and wellbeing AND improved daily living categories. This was a tremendous step for Physiologists and NDIS patients as it was a crucial aspect of their treatment that has been unfunded since the beginning of the NDIS.
As a strong business of Allied Health Professionals, we understand the need to build strong relationships with other allied health to ensure the best treatment possible for our clients. During the year Longevity continued to build these relationships in all 4 of our locations with Physios, Dietitians/nutritionists, GP’s, Surgeons, Podiatrist’s Etc. We continued to develop our own knowledge with weekly meetings and presentations to ensure our clientele receives the most up to date treatment and training.
Personally, we had as many (or more) accomplishments as the business.
Jarrat coached 3 touch teams from Ascham School to grand finals victories. Angela was nominated for AEP of the year. Dylan has been working incredibly hard on his Prehab for his upcoming surgery and is hitting all his physical goals set for this and looks forward to getting back to MMA in the new year. Mitchell won the Australian National Powerlifting Championships as well as finished his Masters in Exercise Physiology and will be a fully qualified Exercise Physiologist in the new year. Daniel continues learning new gymnastics skills such as the skin the cat, the L sit and is a few weeks off completing his first muscle up. This year Courtney started learning Salsa dancing and joined a touch football team. Ashleigh continued to keep busy after work with a mix of social sport commitments and even played touch with Courtney.
Longevity will start the year in a very powerful and strategic way with our Avoca beach Strategic planning weekend. This allows the entire Longevity team to come together and plan the year to come and we cannot wait to see what 2020 holds for Longevity and all our clients.
From the entire Longevity team we wish all past and present clients, strategic partners and frequent blog viewers a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are looking forward to helping you towards your health and exercise goals in 2020.
