Bio

Grayson is a Canadian born, soccer loving guy. He grew up always interested in trying any and every sport he could get his hands on. Water polo, swimming, tennis, Oztag, basketball and cricket were among the plethora of sports tried. However, soccer emerged as the constant in his life, starting at the age of 4 and he continues to captain the first-grade reserves at Hornsby Heights Hornets Football club. He fell in love with the physical and mental health benefits that came with the exercise and comradery. He follows Tottenham Hotspur in the EPL and the Edmonton Oilers in the NHL.

Grayson’s passion for exercise physiology emerged during his rehabilitation from 2 ACL tears in high school. The second was a re-rupture just 7 months into his rehab after the first surgery. It was a combination of learning the science behind his recovery and spending time in the gym sparked his interest in exercise physiology. He loves to know the ‘how’ and the ‘why’ the body reacts to exercise –  leading him to complete at Bachelor of Exercise Physiology at UNSW.

Through personal experience and exposure to mental health disorders including anxiety, depression and BPD, a special passion has come about for Grayson in how exercise can influence and effect those living with these conditions.
He has developed an interest in finding the right and enjoyable type of exercise for everyone  – knowing the amazing holistic health benefits that are paired with it.

Understanding exercise can be a different experience for everyone – his calming, reassuring and fun-loving nature will make you feel right at home.

Outside of work Grayson loves live music specifically local rock artists. He also enjoys his food and will be keen to share secrets about your favourite feeds around Sydney!
