Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

I’ve lived in Canberra my whole life and have always been passionate about exercise and sports. For the past five years, I’ve been dedicated to the gym, focusing on strength training and, more recently, powerlifting over the last year and a half. Recently, I’ve returned to playing AFL, a sport I was deeply involved in during my teenage years, playing representative football. I have a love for all sports, especially AFL and the NBA, and I’ve always enjoyed participating in ball sports. I understand the value of both cardiovascular and resistance training, which is why I make sure to prioritise both aspects in my own fitness routine.

Initially unsure of my career path after school, I found my passion in Exercise Science due to my love for exercise and fitness. I completed my Bachelor of Exercise Science at UC and continued my studies with a Master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology at CSU. I strongly believe in the power of exercise as medicine and follow the mantra “motion is lotion.” I’m passionate about helping people build consistent exercise routines and find activities they enjoy to experience the numerous benefits of regular physical activity. My primary areas of interest include treating and preventing chronic conditions, particularly working with older clients who want to maintain their independence and improve their quality of life. I also enjoy working with healthy individuals looking to specialise in strength or powerlifting training.
