Bio

Cerissa grew up in the inner west of Sydney and played a variety of sports including netball, touch football and athletics. She played representative level netball and went to CIS for athletics. It was through her sports and the injuries that accompanied the training and competition, that led her to the health sector, and wanting to help people, as others had helped her return to sport.

Cerissa completed her undergraduate degree in Human Science (Major in Human Movement) at Macquarie University and Diploma of Exercise Science at Charles Sturt University (CSU).

Her love for sport along with wanting to make a difference in peoples lives and prior to starting with Longevity, she worked as an allied health assistant in Neurorehabilitation and as a support worker in the NDIS space. She is a big believer in using exercise as medicine to give back to others, treat a variety of conditions (including Neurorehabilitation, NDIS, musculoskeletal and other chronic conditions) and helping individuals feel comfortable and achieve their goals through personalised exercise prescription.
