Ella Shultz

Accredited Exercise Physiologist

Bio

Ella grew up in a small coastal town in Northern NSW, where sport gave her purpose, community, and a sense of belonging from a young age. Field hockey became her true passion, something she chased with everything she had, competing well into her early twenties. Representing Queensland is still one of her proudest achievements.

But sport, like life, doesn’t always go to plan. Injuries, setbacks, and missed selections forced Ella to ask herself a hard question: if not on the field, where could she make her mark? That question led her to Exercise Physiology, and she enrolled in the degree at Griffith University Gold Coast, determined to turn her love of movement into something bigger than herself.

The path wasn’t easy. While studying, Ella faced her own knee rehab, fatigue, and personal health struggles. Exercise became her anchor through it all, the one constant that kept her grounded and focused when everything else felt uncertain. It was in these moments that her purpose really took shape. She’d lived the power of exercise as medicine firsthand, and now she wanted to help others find that same power for themselves.

Four years of study later, Ella is a passionate Exercise Physiologist who supports people of all ages and abilities to improve their quality of life through movement. There’s nothing she loves more than walking alongside her clients through whatever hurdle is in their way and helping them reach the goals that matter most to them. This is her purpose, and it’s what gets her excited to show up every day.

As a clinician, Ella loves working with all kinds of clients and is always looking to grow her knowledge and skills. Her special interests include neurological conditions, musculoskeletal injuries, elderly populations, and women’s health
