SIRA (State Insurance Regulatory Authority), regulates insurance schemes in NSW including Workers Compensation and Motor Accidents Compulsory Third Party (CTP).

At Longevity Exercise Physiology, we have SIRA approved Accredited Exercise Physiologists (AEP’s) enabling treatment for workplace injuries. Exercise Physiologists prescribe functional exercise for the purpose of increasing a worker’s capacity for employment. They also provide guidance to assist workers transition to a self-managed exercise program.

Goal of the exercise sessions:

  • Return you to pre-injury capacity and/or full work duties after sustaining an injury at work or being involved in a motor vehicle accident
  • To get you back to full capacity as quickly as possible

Our AEPs will correspond with you, your insurer, treating doctors and other allied health providers throughout your treatment process

How to get started?

  • Call us on 1300 964 002
  • One of our AEPs will call you back and book you in for an initial assessment
  • A full assessment will be conducted by one of Longevity’s AEPs
  • An approval via an Allied Health Recovery Request (AHRR) must be received from your case manager before exercise services proceed
  • Our AEPs will correspond with you, your insurer, treating doctors and other allied health providers throughout your treatment process
  • Your capacity will continually be monitored and assessed with the overall goal to get you back to full capacity as quickly as possible

BUT what about Covid restrictions?

  • We are now offering:
    • Home visits
    • Outdoor sessions
    • Clinic-based exercise and sessions online via video conference (telehealth) to all work cover clients
