Client Appreciation Week: Honouring Loyalty at Longevity
We feel incredibly fortunate to have a community of individuals who have placed their trust in us for years on end. Some clients have been with us for over a decade, dating back to when our Director, Jarrat Wood, was working with clients at Regenesis in Edgecliff. Our long-term clients have witnessed the evolution of Longevity, growing to a team of over 40 practitioners in just a few short years. Throughout their journey, they’ve not only experienced the expertise of multiple Exercise Physiologists but have also forged enduring and meaningful relationships that go beyond fitness and health, becoming an integral part of the Longevity family.
As part of Client Appreciation week, Longevity Exercise Physiology Drummoyne, Edgecliff, Marrickville, Castle Hill, Randwick, Pymble, Kingsgrove, Neutral Bay and Coburg would like to give a special thank you to our clients who haven maintained trust in Longevity over many years, by shinning a spotlight on a few of our long term clients.
Meet Stevie and Norton, a dynamic duo with an inspiring Longevity journey. Stevie embarked on her fitness adventure back in 2018 when she started training in the gym at Edgecliff with Exercise Physiologist Ashleigh. Fast forward five years, and Stevie is as dedicated to her sessions as ever, working with Exercise Physiologist Shannon twice a week.
When the pandemic hit and Sydney went into lockdown, Stevie transitioned to online sessions, a change that not only kept her on track but also had a ripple effect. She got her husband, Norton, involved, and together they committed to virtual training throughout the COVID-19 lockdowns. Now, they’ve seamlessly continued their fitness journey with multiple Telehealth sessions each week. Now in the 80s, Stevie and Norton’s goal is to keep up with their growing family, including great grandchildren!
“Having a team of Exercise Physiologists who can adapt and modify according has been fantastic. The flexibility of being able to train virtually with Shannon and Ellen has been great for our busy schedules. This allows Norton to travel interstate each week and still keep up with his exercise.” – Stevie
Three years ago, Julie embarked on her fitness journey with Longevity at our Drummoyne location. She first sought assistance from our Exercise Physiologist, Georgia, for the management of plantar fasciitis and chronic lower back pain. Julie’s story is a testament to the power of dedication, support, and hard work.
Julie has not only successfully managed her plantar fasciitis and back pain, but has also achieved remarkable athletic feats. She completed two Olympic distance triathlons and joined the Longevity team in conquering the City2Surf race in August of this year.
Julie continues to train at Longevity, now working with our Exercise Physiologist, Annie, to prepare herself for the upcoming triathlon season. Julie is at the heart of our Longevity community in Drummoyne. We love the energy she brings to her sessions and her willingness to always give her best.
“I joined Longevity nearly 3 years ago to get help with an ongoing injury. I enjoyed my weekly visits so much that I just never left! Not only the training, but the understanding, the empathy, the caring, and the building of true friendship, has brought real joy into my busy life.”- Julie
Julie made sure she wasn’t the only one having all the fun, her sister and mother in law are now also Longevity clients.
Sally, a dedicated Longevity client, has been on an inspiring fitness journey with us since 2020. She initially began her training with Jackie, at our Bella Vista clinic. Fast forward three years and Sally is still working with Longevity under the guidance of Jackie and Jarred in Castle Hill.
Sally frequents the gym three times a week. For Sally, training at Longevity is about ensuring she continues to have the strength and stamina to keep up with he grandkids, whilst managing the progression of her COPD and reducing her falls risk. Sally recently was able to walk her dog at the park without her walker as a result of her improvements in her balance and strength.
Sally cherishes her training sessions at the gym not only for the remarkable progress she’s achieved but also for the genuine friendships she has formed with other like-minded clients.
While we’re celebrating the remarkable loyalty of clients like Julie, Sally, Stevie, and Norton, it’s important to note that we have a host of long-term clients, each with their unique journeys and contributions. We deeply value and appreciate every single one of them, as they all play a vital role in the vibrant Longevity community.
We want to emphasise that, at Longevity, we value every single one of our clients, regardless of the length of time they’ve been training with us. Whether you’ve just started your exercise journey with Longevity or have been part of our community for many years, we are genuinely grateful to have you as a part of our health family.
This Client Appreciation Week is our way of saying “thank you” to all of our wonderful clients. As we celebrate our long-term clients, we want to extend our gratitude to each and every one of you.
