Bio

I was born and raised in Adelaide and recently moved to Sydney seeking greater career potential and overall life experience. I am the youngest of 4, with 3 older brothers, so sport
was a large part of my childhood and was what formed my foundational love for exercise and movement. I spent weekend after weekend watching football (AFL) and cricket and finally it was my time to shine – hitting the netball court as a 7-year-old. Throughout my school years, I also dabbled in some hockey, tennis, basketball, volleyball, athletics and cross-country
running. Since COVID, long distance running has been a big focus for me – at an amateur level. I completed my first half marathon in 2023 and have since gone on to complete the
Sydney marathon 2 years in a row (2024 + 2025). Running has been very influential for me and is a big part of my social life as well. It has challenged me in so many ways but has
been one of the most rewarding things I have ever put my mind to. In practice, I want to be able to empower people to engage and experience the benefits of exercise – just like I have.

I was always interested in health and fitness, which is how I landed on studying Exercise Physiology. I studied at the University of South Australia (UniSA) and completed my
Bachelor’s degree in 2022. Throughout my study, I worked as a Sports Trainer at my brothers’ football club in Adelaide, which meant all day Saturday getting the players
prepared for their games and ensuring they were recovering appropriately. This highlighted to me the need for appropriate strength and conditioning to prevent injuries and ensure the
players were performing at their best. This also applied to my other workplace, a gym for older adults, and the need for functional strength and balance to keep these clients
independent and improve their quality of life. Through this exposure, it proved to me just how important exercise is for all individuals across all facets of life – for both the mental and the physical side of exercise.

When working with clients, my biggest priority is that they feel safe and comfortable. I like to
foster an environment where they can be their true selves – creating trust and a sense of
belonging. I will always encourage a holistic approach to exercise and love to see clients
working towards their goals and milestones. Their wins are my wins!
